 registered with Stiftung EAR. When BattDG replaced BattG\, every existing 
 registration had to be actively converted to the new system\; producers wh
 o missed the 15 January 2026 deadline had their registration revoked retro
 actively to 1 January 2026 and faced an automatic sales ban until re-regis

 teries\, or imports/sells products containing batteries\, into Germany\, i
 ncluding small e-commerce sellers.\n\nWat u moet doen: Confirm your Stiftu
 ng EAR / LUCID-equivalent battery registration is active under BattDG (cor
 rect category\, valid OfH assignment). If you newly start selling battery-
 containing products\, register with Stiftung EAR before placing them on th
 e market — do not wait for an annual deadline\, registration is a market
 -entry precondition.\n\nSanctie: Loss of registration and an automatic sal
 es ban (Vertriebsverbot) in Germany for unregistered/non-converted produce

 esetz (BattG) with the new Batterie-Durchführungsgesetz (BattDG) on 2025-
 10-07\, implementing EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 at national leve

 ted/converted to BattDG requirements (correct battery category\, an approv
