 y-gap-reporting rules to be in German law by 7 June 2026 (pre-interview pa
 y ranges\, a ban on asking salary history\, workers' right to average pay 
 information\, and gender pay-gap reporting for 150+ staff). Germany missed
  this deadline\; the existing 2017 Entgelttransparenzgesetz remains in for
 ce in its unreformed\, weaker form (only a right to request comparative pa
 y information in companies with 200+ staff) until a reform act is passed.\
 n\nVem som berörs: All employers for the eventual transparency/reporting 
 duties\; currently the unreformed EntgTranspG already gives employees in c
 ompanies with more than 200 employees a right to request pay-comparison in
 formation.\n\nVad du ska göra: Do not wait for the German act: start buil
 ding gender-neutral job categories and pay bands now\, since the EU direct
 ive's substantive obligations will apply once Germany transposes (expected

  act\; the current EntgTranspG carries no general fine regime\, only indiv
