DESCRIPTION:Latvia's accessibility law requires specified products (compute
 rs\, smartphones\, e-readers\, self-service/payment terminals) and service
 s (e-commerce\, banking\, telecoms\, passenger transport\, audiovisual med
 ia) to be usable by people with disabilities\, in line with the EU Accessi
 bility Act. Microenterprises (fewer than 10 employees and turnover or bala
 nce sheet ≤ €2M) are exempt.\n\nWer betroffen ist: Small\, medium and 
 large companies selling in-scope products or services (especially e-commer
 ce\, banking\, transport\, telecom) in Latvia\; microenterprises under the
  size/turnover threshold are exempt.\n\nWas zu tun ist: Check your product
 \, website\, and customer-facing services against the accessibility requir
 ements in MK noteikumi Nr. 128 (broadly WCAG-aligned for digital services)
 . Keep technical documentation or a documented disproportionate-burden ass
 essment on file\, and be ready to respond to a PTAC market-surveillance re
 quest.\n\nSanktion: Administrative fines up to €10\,000 for legal entiti
 es\; PTAC can also order a non-compliant product or service withdrawn from
  the market until the non-conformity is fixed.\n\nHinweis zum Datum: The P
