 icial electronic mailbox (e-adrese) on the Latvija.gov.lv portal\, the man
 datory channel for correspondence with state and municipal institutions. O
 fficial notices are deemed delivered via e-adrese after a statutory period
  regardless of whether anyone checks it.\n\nWer betroffen ist: Every compa
 ny\, association\, foundation and other legal entity registered in Latvia\
 , including newly formed ones — this covers essentially all businesses.\
 n\nWas zu tun ist: Activate and regularly check the e-adrese for your lega
 l entity via latvija.gov.lv\, assign someone to monitor it (statutory dead
 lines run from delivery there\, not from when it's read)\, and update acce
 ss when changing accountants or administrators.\n\n\nHinweis zum Datum: In
  force since 2023-01-01 under the Oficiālās elektroniskās adreses likum
 s for all legal entities in Latvia's registers (companies\, associations\,
  foundations\, trade unions\, etc.). Still relevant for 2026-2028: every n
 ewly registered entity must activate one immediately\, adoption/usage is r
 eported by DVI as still well below 100%\, and automatic e-address assignme
 nt for newly registered entities is planned (not yet in force) by end of 2
