Privacy notice

What we store

• Your profile (country, size, sectors, flags) lives in the page URL and in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to us unless you sign up for alerts.

• If you sign up for email alerts or a Pro subscription, we store your email address, the profile you submitted, the time of signup, the confirmation time, and a salted hash of your IP address (for abuse prevention). We do not store the raw IP. We may also ask you one optional question about pricing; your answer is stored with your profile and used only in aggregate.
• Email confirmation (double opt-in): after signing up you receive one email with a confirmation link valid for 7 days. We only send alerts to confirmed addresses.
• Unsubscribe:every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link (and a List-Unsubscribe header), and you can request a link at /unsubscribe.
• Server logs may contain IP addresses and requested URLs for up to 30 days for security and debugging.

How long we keep it

• Unconfirmed signups are deleted automatically 30 days after signup.
• Confirmed subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Unsubscribed addresses are kept on a suppression list (address and status only) so that we never email them again by mistake. Email us if you want the address removed entirely.

Why (legal basis)

Signup data is processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) to send you the alerts you asked for. Abuse prevention and logs rely on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in keeping the service running.

Cookies and third parties

We set no analytics or advertising cookies - only a strictly necessary session cookie for the account area and an admin cookie for our team, so this site shows no cookie banner. No tracking cookies, no external fonts or CDNs. Share buttons are plain links to LinkedIn and X; nothing loads from them until you click.

Who processes data on our behalf

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure: hosts the site and database (EU, Madrid region) and delivers our outbound email (reminders, confirmations, contact replies).
• Stripe Payments Europe: handles payments, invoices and VAT/tax IDs for Pro subscriptions; your card details never reach us.
• Cloudflare: provides DNS and the Turnstile anti-bot check on our forms; it does not set tracking cookies.

All three are bound by their own data-processing terms, and your data stays in the EU except where Stripe's own terms provide safeguards for transfers outside it.

Website analytics

We count page views on this site ourselves - no Google Analytics, no third-party analytics or advertising service, and no tracking cookie is set for visitors. Each request is reduced to a route, locale and referrer category; your IP address is never stored - it is combined with your browser's user-agent string and the current UTC date into a one-way hash (rotated daily, so it cannot be used to track you across days) purely to count distinct daily visitors. We also derive your country from your IP address at request time, using an offline lookup that never sends your address anywhere else; only the resulting country code is kept, and the address itself is discarded immediately. Automated traffic (search engines, AI crawlers, uptime monitors) is identified separately from human visits. Only aggregate daily counts are kept, for up to 400 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data at any time, and you can withdraw consent by unsubscribing. Contact: hello@eudeadlines.eu. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
