Companies placing cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy or wood (and derived products such as furniture, paper, leather, chocolate, tyres) on the EU market or exporting them must prove the goods are deforestation-free and legally produced, with geolocation of plots, and file a due diligence statement in the EU information system.

What to do
Map which SKUs fall under the EUDR annex. Collect supplier geolocation data and legality evidence, run a risk assessment per country of origin, and register in the EU Information System to submit due diligence statements. Downstream traders can reference upstream statement numbers.

Fines of at least 4% of EU turnover, confiscation of goods and revenues, temporary exclusion from public procurement
